RENERGIE launched its first project in Austria in 2007. The biogas plant in Orth a. d. Donau east Of Vienna, was built and commissioned together with a cooperative of local farmers.

At the end of 2007, the subsidiary RENERGIE green solutions GmbH was founded in Germany. First projects in the areas of biogas, photovoltaics and biomass are being implemented in this important renewable energy market.

In Czechia a Photovoltaik project was already realized. Projects in Slovakia with the main focus on biogas and photo-voltaic are in their planning stage. At the moment a local focus in Austria are wind projects.

The second step of expansion targets the neighbouring countries in the European Union: Romania, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and Sweden where major future potential has been identified for renewable energy projects, especially those related to wind and hydropower.
